Summary
The literature retrieved under this name does not describe an administered therapeutic peptide. Instead it covers cardiac amyloidosis and transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM), including consensus statements that explicitly note a lack of randomized clinical trials and reliance on expert opinion and retrospective data [1,3,4], with "Cardiogen" appearing as the name of a French reference network for cardiac amyloidosis [4]. A separate item refers to CardioGen-82, a strontium-82/rubidium-82 generator used for cardiac PET imaging rather than a peptide drug [2]. No interventional trials of administering a "Cardiogen" peptide therapeutic are present, so no human therapeutic-efficacy claim can be supported from these sources.
